Philadelphia Natural Hair Show 2014

Philadelphia Natural Hair Show had a huge turn out last Saturday. Natural haired women of all ages came out with their glorious crowns filling the room. Last year was great, but this year was much greater.
I was given the opportunity to cover the event and I'm so grateful for the invitation. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed shooting all the lovely naturals in attendance. It was a joy seeing familiar faces that were featured in last years post (here), and to meet more naturalistas and vendors of natural products. The event consist of hair demonstrations, natural hair blogger panels and educational hair sessions by professional natural hair stylist.

Here is a glimpse of what you may have missed this year. Hope you love!

Aren't these ladies beautiful? Natural hair looks good at any age. It so great to see our women young and mature in age embracing their natural hair and beauty.

I was so excited to meet Scarlet Rocourt of Wondercurl. She is so sweet and humble in person. Her table was so crowded couldn't get much, but I did catch her in the midst of her teaching us how to apply her products.

ProjectAloe.com was there.

Met this natural beauty: Lady in red!
When asked if she did her hair herself? She replied "No, I get my hair styled and colored by students at a beauty school for only $20.00." They did a great job and for that price, my goodness that is an awesome deal. Can't beat that at all!

Thanks for tuning in, till next time folks!
