Recap: Curl Friends Event in Philly!

I do apologize for the lack of postings. I've been super busy and needed to devote time getting things in order, so blogging had to be placed on hold. I thank you for your patience and for stopping by the blog from time to time. There are plans ahead and more post to come.


Now onto the new post that I have for you today.



I was recently invited to attend a beauty event hosted by the Curvy Girl Stylist Karima Renee at the fabulous hair extensions boutique: Indique in Philadelphia, over the weekend. If you've never heard of Indique before, here are a few little facts:

for all ethnicities.

About the hair: 100% virgin hair. True length (not mixed with other lengths). No chemical processing. Non-shedding, tangle free, reusable and long lasting.

Collections: Pure, Bounce, Hysteria, SEA, Keratique, Studio Collection and the Indique Hair Care Essentials. Available are the ones to sew or clip-on. Most can take heat and others curls patterns will remain the same after several washes.

The boutique is modern, classy and vibrant. Loved the bubblegum pink walls. 

Guest that were able to attend got a chance to ask questions about the care of extensions,
how we can treat our hair while wearing extensions and textures that match our tresses.

We had the chance to touch and run our fingers through the hair to feel how soft they were. Some of the bundles had unique single thin and thick wefts. There is variety of colors, texture and length selections to choose from in each collection.

 A wonderful group of curl friends stopped by the Indique boutique, and was warmly greeted by the staff. Some sporting their own natural hair to extensions as a protective style. 

 Got a chance to meet and chat it up with Aliah Davis-McHenry.

The guest also had the opportunity to participate in a giveaway raffle for a special Indique hair prize which was a bundle from the bounce collection.

Before the event was through, we got the chance to get a group shot together. 

So glad I came, I really enjoyed my time there meeting such a wonderful group of women.
